Well it has been one of those funny mornings,. I'm waiting for the chap to come and fix the heating. Also someone to measure the windows for two new ones. While I was waiting I was looking out of the window and watching the birds feed. At one time I had 2 Thrushes 3 and then 4 Blackbirds. 1 Sparrow, and 6 Chaffinches. Later a Doves but they did not stay long. I had sorted out some old bacon that I chopped and put in an old ashtray as well as putting in some fat. I did the same with some seed and Meal worms. Laying out seed and worms on the ground, topping up some frozen water to give them a drink for a few minutes. I then left them to it.

I never managed a Thrush but I will later.

ReplyDeleteAt Canvey one of the stalls was selling Wild bird mix, 8 Kls for £3.99.So I bought one.
