Bathing Elmley Marsh Fashion

Morning all, A bit late with this today as Mike kept me out late yesterday. Only joking as Mike and I took Daisy home, we then went to the B&Q chuck wagon for lunch.

On the way home we both decided to stop of at Elmley Marsh. By the time we got there it was around 2:15. The sign at the entrance said car park 2 mile. This was quite a nice track but narrow. We got to the car park that has toilets as well and the hide was 1 /12 miles but closed because of weather damage.

We took a very slow walk along the path snapping away at this and that. it seems that the birds had gone on strike and were nowhere to be seen. There were plenty of Cows with calf's. Mike said that he was going to do cow's for his blog so I will leave that to him. Farther out we did find some bird but at the time could not see what they were, some I had to wait until I got them on the computer.

The first bird was this swan giving him self a bath.

On top of this  there were a few birds around
I think these two are a Marsh Harrier

Marsh Harrier

Marsh Harrier

And

Grey Heron
 This one is.

Canada Geese

I don't know what these are

That was the end of a very tiring walk but worth it.

I hope you like them

  4. Beautiful Swans Trev .... Ken often goes there.

The first picture of the Marsh Harrier is a Kestrel Trev .... The marsh harrier is a HUGE bird and I don't think this is one!

The unknowns are, I think Oyster Catchers...
