UFO in the sky over southern England

Morning all
 We have had a a UFO hovering over North Kent for about a week. It seems to just stay in the same place every day but does move from East to West in around 17 hours. This morning I decided to photograph it. I manage two picture as the wind was blowing everything about.

The sunspot upper left (the big one) is SS 1532 is very active and might get bigger over the week.

As you can see, the sun has a lot of activity on it and this will increase even more as next year is said to be solar maximum.

The telescope did suffer with gusts of wind and these two were the best of seven.

My club had a cook your own barbie last night so I was not able to get out. A good evening as Jean cooked a curry for Charles and me, well done Jean.

Sorry it is so short but Mike, Sue,  Daisy and me are off to Leeds Castle for a Joust tomorrow.
